What Might Happen on an Embodiment Coaching
Session
Talking therapies can be powerful, but many people sense that something is missing - the connection to how things actually feel in the body and releasing the 'stuckness'.
 
Embodiment Coaching bridges that gap by combining gentle talking with body-focused practices. Here’s how a typical session might unfold:
  1. Opening Conversation
    We begin with a relaxed, chatty check-in about what’s coming up for you right now. This often naturally opens the door to deeper themes.
  2. Turning Inward
    If it feels safe, I’ll invite you to close your eyes and drop into the body using breath and light touch (hands resting on the body). This helps you get into a calmer, more grounded state.
  3. Exploring Through Questions
    I’ll guide you with gentle prompts, inviting you to describe emotions as colours, textures, or sensations. This opens a fresh way of experiencing feelings - beyond words and labels.
  4. Meeting the Younger Self
    Sometimes, the journey takes us to your younger self - whether age 3, 13, or 23. You lead the way, I guide with curiosity and care.
  5. Creating Safety Through Self-Holding
    I may suggest simple soothing practices (stroking your arms, holding your face) to foster safety and comfort while you explore.
  6. Rewriting the Story
    Together, we gently revisit challenging moments. With your adult self present -and my guidance - you get the chance to rewrite the story, reparenting yourself and giving yourself what you once needed.
  7. Returning Gently
    We use grounding and soothing practices (movement, shaking, breathwork) to come back slowly to the present moment.
  8. Integration and Reflection
    We process what unfolded, notice any shifts, and set gentle next steps. We close with movement, positive intentions, and light conversation.
  9. Aftercare
    Following the session, I’ll send you a written summary with reflections, practices, or simple movements you can use between sessions.

Embodiment Coaching:
what happens in a session?

MY STORY: From depression, binge drinking, and despair… to sobriety, self-acceptance, and profound inner peace. In other words: EMBODIED. I finally feel calm, well, and resourced to meet life in all its messiness - and you can too.

At 40, I hit a breaking point. Years of pushing, people-pleasing, and powering through (plus perimenopause) had caught up with me. From being a “wild child” teenager to a binge-drinking uni girl, then a struggling mum of three - I’d been living in survival mode for as long as I could remember.

Eventually, I just snapped. What looked like a breakdown turned out to be a breakthrough. After years of struggling with my health, relationships, and identity, I finally realised that life couldn’t continue the way it was. Something had to change.

I live in a busy, messy house, with pets, kids, and a husband with a demanding job. And like so many women, I realised if I didn’t prioritise myself, everything else would fall apart. So I did. I put my own self-care first - not as a luxury, but as a necessity.

Six years ago, I decided to change careers from digital marketing and content creation, to retrain in holistic modalities: yoga, reiki, and coaching. That decision transformed my life. Since then, I’ve studied deeply, received countless therapies and healing treatments myself, and created a holistic toolkit I now share with other women. It’s a blend of everything I’ve learned and lived - mind, body, and spirit, and I use my other skills to share it with the world in my typical honest, imperfect way!

To be clear, I’m not anti-Western medicine - I take HRT, for example - but I do believe we often hand our power away to the “doctor in the white coat.” My philosophy is to keep a foot in both camps. Medications and medical care can be supportive, but true transformation happens when we reclaim our power and take charge of our own wellbeing: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

It was spiritual and holistic practices that truly helped me heal and rebuild. They gave me tools to feel safe in my body, compassion for myself, and a way forward that felt authentic and empowering. Spirituality to you can be anything that feels like a higher power. Call it God, the Universe, or whatever you like. 

MY CREDENTIALS
I am a 500-hour Yoga Teacher, with additional training in Yin, Aromatics for Yoga, and more. I’m also a certified Holistic Life Coach and a qualified Embodiment Coach.

But the truth is - my deepest qualification is lived experience. I know what it’s like to hit rock bottom and claw your way back, more than once. I know what it’s like to carry the invisible weight of expectation, comparison, and overwhelm. And I know how powerful it is to finally come home to yourself.

This is why my work isn’t about “fixing” women or making them function “better.” Although life getting easier inevitably comes from finding increased holistic wellbeing: moreover, it’s about self-acceptance, compassion, and inner peace.

I believe we are living in a powerful time of transformation - the sacred feminine is rising, cycles are breaking, and women everywhere are being called to reclaim their truth and their power - in all their raw authentic realness. 

It’s not always easy. In fact, it’s often far from it. But I know this: you don’t have to walk this path alone. I share what has worked for me and what I’ve learned along the way, with an open heart. This is my dharma, my purpose, my joy.
