YOGA

I have recently shifted to a block booking model. This is to help build community, and to facilitate growth, whilst also honouring full spectrum yoga and making my own business more viable. 

 

Each block is 6 weeks long and themed by chakra, the exact same practice each week with each class being 90 mins. You get connection, full spectrum yoga (not just the asana) and you get to progress towards a goal, peak posture each block. So you learn ALL of yoga, and progress in your practice. This is more than a drop in exercise class, I promise. 

See the next couple of months (dates), below. When booking the block of in person classes, you get the online free. You are welcome to choose just the Monday (Flow) or just the Friday Class (Yin) in person. Or both. It works out a lot less to be a member if you want to do both - and again you get all online classes included free. So if you can't make it live you go to to the online session.

 

Not local to me? No problem! If you just wish to purchase and only attend online, please purchase separately, the plans are below in block bookings of 12 online classes so you can attend the full block. 

Thee blocks run pretty much in term time along with UK school terms. There are two half terms in a term, 13 weeks, so the aim is to have a block per half term. It's not always perfect but I will try my best!

 

Each block with different names pertaining to a chakra. This means we will be working on different parts of the body and energetic system each block, so the aim is that we are becoming more balanced - and we learn more about our chakras. 

 

In each session I will also talk about A Yama or Niyama for the dharma talk, there are 5 of each so once we get to the tenth we circle back and keep going, so you will learn them before the year is out! This happens after our check in. This means we are moving towards taking our yoga off the mat. Which is the ultimate goal of the yoga practice. 

There are 4 x 75 minute classes each week, for 6 weeks. 2 in person, the same class online. Two different style: Mindful Flow is Monday in person and Thursday online. This is gentle flowing movement and then more still poses at the second half. Yin is slow, long held poses and deep stretches, this is Tuesday Online and Friday in person. 

My recommendation is if you are wanting to commit to a full practice and grow your range in mind and body, then the membership is for you as it saves money and you will make very sustained progress. Packages are below underneath dates. You may drop in only as a taster to the class. If you want to join mid block, message me and I will see. Thanks.

Flow of Class:
Each class is a mini workshop in a series of 6

  • First we check in, with tea; 10 mins

  • We introduce the Yama / Niyama in a short dharma talk; 5 mins

  • Then, we do breathwork; 5 mins

  • After, we asana (movement) with a peak pose to move towards; 45 mins

  • Then we meditate; 5 mins

  • Before we savasana. 5 mins

Each block is themed by chakra, and each class by Yama/Niyama (moral guidelines). This is full spectrum, connected yoga.
