Embodiment Coaching

I am a qualified Holistic Life Coach, and an Embodiment Coach, also. I have had coaching and therapy myself, lots of it, over the years. Since I experienced and trained in embodied coaching, where we use our bodies as part of the process, I cannot go back to simple talking therapy. It is the missing piece. We are WHOLE. So a (w)holistic approach is needed, one that takes into account mind, body and soul.

Read more below about what happens during embodiment coaching. Then, why not book on for an extended starter session at a reduced price to see if it's for you? Expect rapid shifts, a whole-body experience, a deep and profound realisations. I will keep you safe throughout the process, and we can go at your own pace.

My 'Dis-embodied' Story

Does this resonate?

I think it's really important that, as coach and client, we resonate. So I want to briefly share my story, all about how I got into this work of Embodiment (yoga is a type of embodiment).

My story is one of hustling for worthiness; a dysregulated nervous system; alcohol use 'disorder'.

A few years ago I had a big depressive episode. I was diagnosed eventually with ADHD. For years I had binge drank. But I knew deep down, I was drinking in a different way to my party loving friends. I hated being alone with my thoughts. I had childhood trauma. I came across as bubbly, confident, wild and free spirited, but that wasn't the real me. I pushed down my spirituality, had no boundaries, and abandoned myself regularly. I struggled to feel like I was enough, or even, 'good'.

But on the outside, all looked well. After my depressive break, I trained in holistic modalities, as I started to feel drawn towards things like yoga, reiki, essential oils - anything of that nature. I started to develop a toolkit that helped me stop drinking. I went to therapists, coaches, and they all helped. I trained as a coach. Then I trained in embodiment - and this pulled it all together. It was the missing piece.

You have to be willing to FEEL. We also have to understand why we stopped feeling. I didn't drink because I wanted to taste red wine. I drank to leave my body. I had to start to get comfortable being in my body. This is embodiment. As women, so many of us, for SO many different reasons, are not OK being with ourselves. But we can heal that. And there is such richness there. If you're ready to embark on this journey, book a session below.
